Spring offers some amazing plants and fungi that have culinary and medicinal uses, some of which have fascinating stories behind them. From the delightful Wild Garlic where Ramsbottom gets its name to tangy Wood Sorrel and fungi like the appropriately named St George’s Mushroom – which usually appears around the same time as the day we all celebrate.

The event will be held in Nuttall Park and surrounding area looking for  wild edibles, and will take place whatever the weather. Dress appropriately
