What is the Purpose of the Friends of Nuttall Park, Ramsbottom
The purpose of the "Friends of Nuttall Park" is to improve the quality of life and create a cleaner, greener, safer environment for the local community that surrounds Nuttall Park.
What are the Values of the Friends of Nuttall Park?
We are committed to ensuring there are lasting benefits from the park for the local community and its wildlife.
We will work with others to enrich and protect the park and to encourage activities that are in harmony with the park.
We believe that everyone should have the right to the safe environment of the park that is consistent with these values regardless of their sex, sexual orientation, religion, culture, ethnic or racial identity, disability of age.

What are the Aims of the Friends of Nuttall Park?
- To ensure that the Friends of Nuttall Park (FONP) is a viable and effective organisation that is also democratic and accountable.
- To raise funds to support the work of the group.
- To achieve as much local community involvement in the work of FONP as possible.
- To improve access to and within the park for people in foot and for disabled persons.
- To conserve and enhance the natural vegetation and wildlife of the park.
- To reduce the amount of crime and vandalism that takes place in and around the park so that it is a safe and secure place for everyone to use.
